 The Amazon Diaper Deals game will be changing very soon!  Amazon will be increasing the price of diapers for Amazon Moms who do not upgrade to Prime memberships as of Jan. 24th!  So you can either stock up now or pay the $79/yr. upgrade fee which may or may not be worth it for you.  Here is a list of some of the diaper deals you can score with diapers starting at 17¢ each or under with the 20% off Amazon Mom discount and any applicable coupons.  I will also list the prices with just the 5% Subscribe & Save discount (price you will pay starting 1/24 w/o Prime membership) and Walmart.com prices so you can compare.

Notice that prices vary from 2¢-6¢ per diaper between the 20% off discount prices and 5% off prices.  That could be the difference of $3-$9 a month if your baby wears only 5 diapers a day or $6-$18 a month if your baby wears 10 diapers a day!  You’ll have to do the math and see if the $79/year Prime membership will pay for you depending on how many diapers you go through every month, prices of diapers you use, how much longer your baby will be in diapers, etc.  There are too many unique variables to say it will pay for everyone. 

Do also note though that in just about every case (all but 1 pack of diapers) Amazon diaper prices are still better than Walmart.com diaper prices even with only the 5% discount!  So if you enjoy the convenience of having your diapers and wipes delivered to your door you can rest assured that you are still getting the best prices from them even if you don’t upgrade to Prime.  I can’t say how prices compare to wholesale clubs like Costco because I don’t buy diapers from them but keep in mind that w/ wholesale clubs there is also an annual fee.  You may also be able to save with coupon deals but that will require work, travel, and coupons.  You’ll have to decide if the extra time/$ involved there is worth it for you.

3. When purchasing diapers and wipes and other qualified items, be sure to select “Subscribe & Save” and an automatic delivery frequency (from 1 month to 6 months) to save an additional 5% on diapers and wipes (20% total).  You will get free Standard Shipping on Subscribe & Save orders.
4. Easily cancel or change Subscribe & Save orders. Once you receive your shipment, go to “Your Account” and choose “Manage Subscribe & Save”.  You can cancel future shipments or change delivery frequency and/or date with no obligation!
