*ENDED* Rock -N- Learn DVD Review and Giveaway + 25% off Code!

by Michelle on February 23, 2012

I was given the opportunity to review the fabulous new Rock ‘N Learn Letter Sounds DVD!  This was our first Rock ‘N Learn video and my girls love it!  At first I was impressed purely by the fact that it kept my 4 yr. old’s attention.  After time it has become one of her favorite videos and now both my girls request to watch it just about every day.

The video starts off by introducing all the letter sounds to music with an “on-screen mouth” showing how to form the sounds.  Next it goes on to introduce capital and lower case letters and the differences between the two.  Here is a quote from the Rock ‘N Learn site that tells what comes next…

Excitement builds as kids race the clock to say letter sounds in silly sentences before hearing the answers. Then, learners play several games to solidify their understanding of letter-sound associations that will help them read and spell. Finally, after learning some common sight words, kids feel successful reading complete sentences and short stories.

The video is about an hour long and as you can see from the image above it really holds my 4 yr. old’s attention.  Even my 2 year old enjoys it and dances to the music every time we turn it on.  I love that these videos are not only educational, but also fun and entertaining.  The fun characters throughout the video really make it captivating.

The website gives a great description of all the different DVD options from Preschool and Kindergarten options to Phonics, Reading, Writing and all subjects in between.  They even offer Science and Math videos. I can’t wait to build our collection further.

If you’d like to make a purchase yourself, they have generously offered my readers a 25% off code good on all purchases.  The code is JQ7711.  Take a look at the site HERE and use the code at checkout to save 25% if you see anything you like or to try them out yourself.  It’s a great way to feel good about letting your little ones watch TV knowing that they will be learning in the process.

One reader will also have the opportunity to win a DVD or CD of their choice from the wonderful Rock ‘N Learn series!  To enter to win, complete the Rafflecopter form below.  Giveaway will be open Worldwide and run through March 8, 2012.

Please note:  There will be many entry options but please do not say you did them if you did not actually complete the option.  All entries will be verified and if you say you did something which you did not, all of your entries will be disqualified.  You can complete as many or as few as you like.  The more you complete the better your chances of winning.

Good Luck!
